The Scrub & Peeling is a 20-minute Focused Care ritual at Navitas Spa, Hilton Istanbul Airport: a short warm-up on the heated marble followed by a whole-body kese exfoliation and rinse. It gives passengers in transit visibly renewed skin in the time of a coffee; ask us on WhatsApp for the current price.
What happens
After a few minutes of warmth on the navel stone, your attendant works the kese mitt over the whole body in firm strokes. The rough weave lifts away dead skin — you will see it come off in small rolls — and the skin underneath is smooth and warm. A rinse with warm water finishes it.
Cabin air is very dry; after a long flight the outer layer of the skin is dull and tight. Twenty minutes of kese fixes exactly that.
Timing for a layover
Plan 40 minutes at the spa including changing and a shower. It is our shortest treatment and the one most often booked by passengers with a three-hour connection.

Frequently asked questions
Is the scrub rough?
It is vigorous — that is how it works — but it should not hurt. Ask for a lighter hand if you have sensitive skin.
Should I moisturise afterwards?
Yes, lightly, once the skin has cooled. Or add a 15-minute clay or gold mask.
Can I have it after sunbathing?
Not on sunburnt skin. Wait until the burn has settled.
