Getting here & timing

Where exactly is the spa?

Inside Hilton Istanbul Airport, the hotel a short walk from the terminal of Istanbul Airport (IST) in Arnavutköy. Enter the hotel, and reception will point you to The Spa.

Can I visit during a layover?

Yes, if you can leave the airside area. The hotel is on the landside, so international transit passengers pass through passport control (and need a visa where applicable) to reach us. Domestic passengers and anyone arriving in Istanbul simply walk over.

How long does it take from the terminal?

A few minutes on foot from the arrivals level. Allow extra time for passport control if you are in international transit, and plan to be back at the terminal in line with your airline's check-in and security guidance.

What are the opening hours?

We are open every day from 07:00 to 22:00, and hotel guests can use the fitness centre around the clock with their room key. The last booking depends on the length of your treatment — it must finish before we close.

Do I need to book?

We strongly recommend it, especially around flight banks. Send your preferred time on WhatsApp or use the booking form; we confirm within minutes during opening hours.

What if my flight is delayed?

Message us as soon as you know. Changes are free up to 4 hours before your appointment, and with flights we are as flexible as the day allows.

Treatments & the hammam

What is the shortest treatment?

The Focused Care rituals: a 20-minute scrub and peeling or a 25-minute foam massage, both on the heated marble of the hammam. Ask us for the current price on WhatsApp — we reply within minutes.

I have never been to a Turkish bath. What happens?

You change into a pestemal (a cotton wrap), warm up on the heated marble, and your attendant washes you with warm water, exfoliates you with a kese mitt and covers you in a cloud of soap foam. It ends with a rinse and a rest. Nothing is required of you but to lie there.

Are treatments performed by men or women?

Tell us your preference when booking and we will do our best to arrange it, subject to the day's team.

Can two people be treated together?

Yes — one of our three treatment rooms is designed for couples, with two massage beds side by side. Choose “2 people” in the booking form.

What is the difference between the Sultan Hammam and the scrub and foam ritual?

The scrub and foam ritual (45 minutes) is performed by one attendant. The Sultan Hammam (50 minutes) is a four-hands ritual performed by two therapists working in synchrony.

Do you offer massages after a long flight?

Yes. Hot stone, Balinese and aromatherapy massages are popular after long-haul flights, and the Jet Lag Recovery package combines an aromatherapy massage with a scalp massage and an eye mask.
