At a glance
Before a massage or hammam, tell the team about pregnancy, heart or blood-pressure conditions, recent surgery or injury, skin conditions, allergies, diabetes, epilepsy and medications affecting circulation or heat tolerance. Navitas Spa adapts pressure, heat, products and duration; in pregnancy, sauna, steam, hot stone and deep pressure are avoided and gentle massage is possible after the first trimester with your doctor's agreement.

Pregnancy
- No sauna, steam room, hot stone or deep-pressure work
- Gentle side-lying massage possible after the first trimester with your doctor's agreement
- Some essential oils avoided — tell us before an aromatherapy massage
- The hammam foam massage is possible at a lower temperature and shorter length; ask us
Other conditions
| Condition | What we do |
|---|---|
| Heart, blood pressure | Shorter heat sessions, no sudden cold, medium pressure |
| Recent surgery, injury | Avoid the area; may postpone deep work |
| Skin conditions, sunburn | No scrub on affected skin; gentle products |
| Diabetes | Care with heat and pressure on the feet |
| Epilepsy | Avoid certain oils; heat with care |
| Blood thinners | Lighter pressure |
| Allergies | Unscented, nut-free products available |
Our rule
We would rather say no to a treatment than harm a guest. If we are unsure, we suggest the gentle alternative — and there is always one.
